"A great place to stay. Plenty of private parking at the hotel. This place is 100m from the centre of town. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Warm clean and good sized room. The town is beautiful with plenty of bars and restaurants and beautiful buildings bridges and a castle "

"The room I was given was much older than it appeared in the photos. The carpet was not clean, and there was a strong unpleasant smell as soon as I entered the room. The bathtub glass in the bathroom was dirty, with mold covering the edges. The walls in the room were also in poor condition, with peeling paint and visible damage in several areas."

"The hotel was ok for our 2 night stay. Bed was comfy. Tea and coffee facilities, hair dryer, iron were all good additives. Bathroom toilet was a little small but ok. Shower was hot and powerful. Breakfast was good. But a bit pricey. Walls a bit thin, guy in next room snoring and we could hear."

"Host was very responsive at the time off booking and sent clear, helpful instructions on access and what was around the local area, well presented, clean and tidy great location with supermarket, bars and plenty of places to eat, the location is lovely and had everything you would need, No noise issues, Comfortable bed and well-equipped kitchen. If I am in the area I shall book again if it's available. Many thanks for a great stay, would highly recommend, thanks again."

"Standards seems to have gone down, quite a lot of dust around. The lift still being out of commission is a problem and doesn't seem to have been mentioned on the description. I believe this is a long term problem as the staff indicated that "spare parts" were no longer available. Very young staff and hit and miss service. Good position though."

"The room was clean and the staff friendly. I probably would not come here again mainly because they do not serve breakfast. Their website states that breakfast is made to order and I recall seeing it on the expedia page but then was notified a day before about where to go for food instead. I asked on arrival and they have not served breakfast in 3 years. Inconvenient but not the end of the world. The shower had someone else's soap in it and the body wash was never renewed after use. We were in one of the cheapest rooms, 103, bit of a rabbit warren to find it but surprisingly quiet for opposite the town centre McDonald's on a Saturday night. Freshly decorated. Comfortable bed, good shower, well equipped kitchenette, smart TV.
