"Plenty of off road parking, no staff onsite, vending machine in main building with limited supply of chocolate bars and drinks etc. Room 17 - large room, comfy bed, powerful shower, proper size towels - the kind that actually go all the way around a fully grown adult male, space to work and very good wifi connection / speed. Downside.......no curtains in room just vertical office style blinds missing a blade which let lots of light in at night. Also the walls in the annexe are very thin, could hear the neighbours using the facilities and snoring throughout the night - appreciate this may not be the Dakota's issue but I can't be the first to have noticed and a few packs of ear buds would have helped."

"Food was very good, reception very helpful, room very quirky. I had to book a family room as last one left - was the only room on the top floor built into the eaves. Two double bedrooms, very spacious and nice and quiet. Be aware that the rooms are in an apartment style building (bit like Butlins) across the car park. There is no lift - I was on the 2nd floor and struggled a bit with my suitcase as I have a bad hip (age!). I would also recommend to the hotel that they put some grab bars in the shower - one for as you go up the step into the shower and one in the shower as I found it slippery - again an age problem!"

"Amazing spacious room"

"I was contacted a few days before by a very nice lady. Asked if we wanted to book a table for the evening we were staying. Asked when we thought we would arrive. Very pleasant and helpful. Registration paper was waiting for us when we arrived. Lovely comfortable room. Very clean. Staff were all lovely and helpful"

"The hotel had a very strange atmosphere, almost like it had been abandoned. There were only standard TV channels in the rooms, the pillows are too big. It's very dated. Used the Spa area but had to buy a padlock for the locker. "

"Breakfast was excellent value and good portions, off road parking but fills with customers to the club especially on an evening. No food or drink allowed in rooms which was disappointing as you have to go down to a very busy bar to get refreshments and isn’t ideal if your chilled in your room after a long day out and you just want to relax watching TV with a nice cup of coffee, but that isn’t possible as no kettle is provided in your room. Apart from that our stay was excellent, really nice staff and very clean room."
