The whole hotel was taken over by ball unable to use communal areas .Bar overpriced 4.80 for pot of tea staff which gave one drink checking in nightmare felt like herd of cattle staff unhelpful miserable . "Nice looking interiors. Funky room. The young lady on reception was really outstanding. Food wasn’t great in the restaurant. Externally harassed by homeless couple asking for money on approach to hotel. Parking is in the multi storey station car park, great smell of urine on each entry way! Upside it’s not a long walk to the hotel but I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing it if I was alone travelling. Bonus you get reduced parking fees. "Room was clean and nicely presented. There is significant building work taking place so restaurant not open (which they did pre-warn me about,), and skeleton staff. However, the staff were super helpful and friendly. Everything closes at 8pm ( bar, front gates etc) so not a place to stay if you are looking to relax of an evening outside of your room. "
