"This is a lovely motel located right on the Sound and all rooms face the water. The room was clean and relatively spacious, though most of the space was devoted to the kitchen and living areas. The bathroom was a bit small, as was the sleeping area. My family, including an elderly relative, traveled here for a family wedding in mid-April. "I absolutely love this place. I took my mom for a quick getaway to release some stress and it did just that. The atmosphere, the sound of the ocean and birds in the morning was just what we needed. I do have to say we encounter 1 or 2 hiccups. Our room looked spotless but, when we opened the door it smelled like pet.
