"The rooms are modern clean and efficient. They have the 'feel' of modern student accommodation - which seems to be what they are repurposed from or related to. Check-in was friendly and down to earth. Everything simple to use. Nice, clean, facilities and rooms. Lovely quiet area with lots of trees, a great local hill (just under Arthur's seat) and a countryside ambience about 10 mins walk from Edinburgh city centre. "We were a bit disappointed in the size and cleanliness of the room. It was so small we didnt have room to open our luggage. Had to place them on the bed. There was tons of dust on the light fixtures and baseboards. Being a clean freak I was put off by that. Staff were okay but not as friendly as other hotels we stayed at."
