"Our bedroom was clean. You could see the garden out of the window but I think you’re just a bit of a stretch to say garden view. I was rather expecting to be able to sit on a chair and look out the window. Window was quite high and quite small. However, if you did stand up, I’ll look out of it. You could indeed see the garden. I found it a shame that little nice cities such as cotton buds and cotton wall were no longer available in the bathrooms. The staff were very attentive and extremely helpful and very polite. Breakfast was very nice although I have to say not quite sure what make coffee they’re using but suggestion might be don’t use it anymore. The chef very kindly cooked me some scrambled eggs because I have eating allergies. And whilst I could find food there it was perhaps not as varied as it could have been. We enjoyed drinking the bar, but the biggest biggest bug bear for both of us were the fact that a dogs were in our space.(I do not dislike dogs but feel that of an evening in a bar unless of course this is a service dog ,which clearly it was not there was no need for the dogs to be there.) three animals a fairly full bar to be honest wasn’t nice."

"The positives: The hotel is nice and set in lovely grounds. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was nice. The negatives: The walls are thin, we were woken at 4am by o guests in the room next door who proceeded to talk and make noise until they left for breakfast at 8am! The mattress was very uncomfortable and needs changing, after a two night stay our backs were hurting. After the breakfast being good we tried the bar food. Well, the pizza looked like ‘pavement pizza’, unsure if the pizza oven they have in the restaurant was utilised but going by the look and taste I’d say no. But ending positively, the burger was nice."

"The Angel Posting House is a quirky Tudor-era property, with long and interesting history and many historically-famous guests. Thus the property has a many different levels and steps up to the rooms; each with a wonky charm; typical of this era dwellings. On top of the olde world charm, it still has a modern fit-out and was a very comfortable stay. The beds a re great, the staff were most courteous, and while no on-side breakfasts, there was a deal with a neighboring establishment which provided good value."

"Everything (except restaurant) was poor : Small room with no refill (for 3 days they didn't refill the soap in the shower). Internet was very slow and down many times. They charged me twice and nobody want to take responsablity and told me to ask expedia. First night full of flies in the room. Many diffeent persons at the reception and nobody seems to care about the problems and always refer the day after to the manager who didn't take any decision. It is my fifth time to this hotel But also the last ones because the place has no maintenance and be worst every year"
