"I stayed in a refurbished room which was decorated to a high standard and spotlessly clean. Check in / out was simple and quick. Sadly though, room was unbelievably hot - even with windows open and the provided fan. No shower - only a bath, which I didn't spot on booking. Made it tricky to wash hair, as bath doesn't have shower attachment or taps! "

"Had to provide photo ID online before checking in. Had to wait for at least ten minutes before anyone came to reception to check me in. The place felt as if it had been abandoned in the 1980s. Very basic.room. Shower was a dribble, though to be fair, the dribble was hot. Thin though large towels. On a positive note: two packs of custard creams with the teas and coffees. Will not be returning."

"The room was amazing, brilliant views over the gardens and we saw deer, squirrels, a fox and rabbits all with half an hour. (Room 501) The room was very spacious for our family and very clean. Our boys loved the balcony and yoga ball! I loved the extra room. The staff were very friendly and welcoming especially in the restaurant. The breakfast was delicious, lots of choice and good quality. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. "
