I chose the MGH after having had a great experience staying at their hotel in Kyoto years back. I arrived too early to check in, but was able to store my suitcase. It wasn’t too long later that I received a call that my room was ready. The early check-in allowed me to recover quickly from 20+ hours of travel to get from Portland, OR to Taipei. The room and bed were very comfortable. I felt so much better after a brief rest that I was able to get out and explore the city. The location is very convenient as it’s next to a subway stop on the Bannon line, and it’s walking distance to shops and restaurants. I would undoubtedly choose to stay here again the next time I visit Taipei!

Amazing hotel with outstanding cleanliness and service. Great size room. Right beside a metro station which made transportation very easy. Great location with lots of amazing restaurants and shop nearby.
