"Great 2 night stay, slight issue with Expedia which Tony sorted out for us swiftly, great service and a fantastic room, luxurious pillows and bedding/mattress so slept so well and didn’t hear any outside noise. A couple of small things: 1- It would have been nice to know there was a flight of narrow stairs to get to room, 2- Bathroom sink is blocked by overhanging cabinets, toothbrushing very difficult, 3- bathroom door drifts open against the bed unless closed and then the bathroom is very hot. "The B&B was very conveniently situated a short walk from the city centre. Parking with an EV charging point, useful for us to top up our car. Staff were all very friendly and courteous, highly recommended."

"Great Guest House! Owner was very professional and took the time to highlight key areas on a map for us. The room was clean and very well kept. The key tourist areas of York were all within walking distance. I would highly recommend Vikings Guest House to anyone looking to stay in York."

"This was a very cute bed and breakfast and the host was beyond helpful. I really can't say enough good things about him! We unfortunately were not able to have breakfast as they don't start serving until 9 and we needed to be on our way for the day by 9 :) The room was clean, although the bathroom could have been cleaner.
