"great location, right by the train station that goes to the nfl stadium. the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. they have snacks and drinks at the front that are complimentary. the room is small but the perfect size. room includes a full size fridge, stove top, microwave. the room was modern and clean. you have to take out the trash on your own but it was fine because it is a big garbage bin. "

"I like the hotel because it is old school. Room was clean and neat. Bed was comfortable. Everything in the bathroom worked just fine. It was nice having a coffee maker in the room. I even liked that they supplied a stack of magazines to read. St. Paul Grill has excellent food. Rug in our room was a bit threadbare and I wish they had self parking."

Parking is in an enclosed ramp connected directly to the hotel--very secure. We didn't get a chance to take a swim or get a workout, but both spaces looked very well kept. "This is always my go-to hotel when staying in St. Paul. The hotel is always clean. The staff is friendly. They have a shuttle service if you’re going to concerts at Grand Casino Arena. It’s in a great location. The hotel is nice and quiet. The breakfast bar is always well stocked and has good food. I also enjoy that they have snack items for purchase at the front desk area. Overall, it’s my favorite hotel and I always enjoy my stay."

"The hotel was ok; the WiFi never worked, and the TV in the room would intermittently stop working. The elevator and room entry cards would randomly stop working, which was also very inconvenient. The room's climate control was also very hard to regulate. I have a travel clock that tracks temperature, and it was always 5-10 degrees warmer in the room than what I would set the thermostat on. "

"Our room was very clean. However, the shower had a severe leak and tub wouldn't drain. The king bed mattress was really bad. It was a big bowl. Very uncomfortable. We were only staying one night. When we told the front desk at checkout, all she said was ok, I'll tell maintainence. "

"What a great hotel located right in Stadium Village on the University of Minnesota campus! It is walking distance to the start of campus tours and the Gopher stadium. I love that U of M students can also use the space to study and relax. Starbucks and Chick-fil-A and a nice restaurant are all in the same building. Great place. Loved it! 5 stars!"
