"Great option for a solo traveller, especially, as it was easy to chat with the staff and get useful input on my plans. Close to the metro, cafés and good takeaways. Very quiet room and comfortable bed. Don't miss breakfast in the stylish and relaxed "salon"... a wonderful way to start your day. The pastries were outstanding and the vibe was very old-world-meets-modern-times. Tiny, yes, but as described. Overall, I highly recommend!"

"I was in room 14. The junior suites have a small sitting area, tv, bathroom and closet on the first floor. A tight winding staircase led up to the bedroom and a nice table and chair overlooking the courtyard. The breakfast was not worth 21 euros in my opinion. "We just came back from our 4 night stay and we will be back. The rooms was so comfortable and ful of character with solid old furniture, thick fabrics, and a gorgeous claw foot tub. The building is authentically old but updated enough that it doesn't feel at all worn, run down, or a compromise to modern convenience. The staff was unfailingly kind and friendly, and the location couldn't be closer to the metro while stills being reasonably quiet. We will be back next spring!"

"Staying at Pavillion de la Reine was such a luxurious treat! We stayed in the apartment on site (le pavillion) with two teenagers .. lots of room, space to relax and unwind after long days of sightseeing. It had the best breakfast every day & we really enjoyed the helpful, polite and delightful staff. "
