"Had an excellent stay at the Pontcanna Inn! I had a last-minute trip to Cardiff come up and was very happy to find such a lovely place on short notice. The room was, clean, cozy, and very comfortable. Despite being above a pub and close to the street, the room was very quiet. I could hardly hear any noise from the pub or the street during my time there. Would definitely recommend the Pontcanna Inn for anyone looking for a stay in Cardiff."

"Everything as usual was excellent, However i was disappointed with the standard of the buffet breakfast. On previous occasions we were table served. Breakfast was freshly cooked quite special. Now unfortunately the llanerch breakfast experience has become ordinary and generic and dare i say, not worthy of the £20 charge. Saying all that, we enjoy the lovely spacious rooms, quiet disposition and friendly staff. We will, ofcourse come to stay again. "

"Some parts still being refurbished. Good room with clean facilities but very noisy as it was at the front of the hotel. Very good policy regarding food. As they do not have a restaurant you are asked to use their breakfast room if you have a take away and there are plenty of options around the hotel for this. Very friendly staff on the front desk. Parking at hotel is at the back with a controlled gate. If there is no room parking around the hotel is difficult."
