"This is easily one of the best hotel in Batam, the view is amazing! We are going to stay here again on Christmas and New year! But the breakfast is horrible, I am sorry but all the cakes are hard and cold. Maybe if there’s pancake made fresh and warm bread with cheese that will be wonderful. I don’t even see oranges offered, food are so little at a time so it always runs out. The taste of the food is also not on par with other similar hotel. It’s a shame because the decor and the hotel itself...
"The breakfast was terrible, some food were finished at 9.15am, milk was not top up until we asked and not cold for cereal. Traditional kueh were finished too at 9.15am even though bf was till 10am. Last year bf was great but not this time so will not book again. "
"When arrived, I was told by the owner that our rooms will be slightly noisy as is directly below ktv.. And it opened till 4am. We was not give much choice but to accept. He assure us that only slightly noisy. It was OK at 1st.. Really abit noisy only.. But 12am onwards, it become super loud.. Is heavy metal live band. My room is vibrating. All the drumming are giving me and family members headache. It goes on and on.. Does not end till 4am. The soundproofing is very lousy. There is no hot water...

"This is my 2nd stay with Aston Inn Gideon Batam over the past 2 months. It's not an overstatement to say that they are the best hotel in the Penuin area.
Surrounded by massage centers within 200m, most crowned with an average rating of 4.9 stars on Google Reviews, if you're prepared to be blown away by massage paradise, this is the place to be.
The restaurant within the hotel only serves breakfast, but you will be spoilt for choices with great tasting local food, all within walking distance at any time of the day.
The sound insulation of the hotel room was exceptional as we were not able to hear the slightest noise at all from outside the windows, the corridors and the neighboring rooms.
View was not a priority for us at all, the hotel was neither situated by the sea nor was it a tall building. So, please do not expect any breathtaking views, we're just thankful that it let's in enough sunlight.
TL;DR? This hotel is best for location, good service, location, great comfort, convenience, excellent value and most importantly, location."
