"You really need to take the bus to get to Lisbon from her for 1 hour before taking an Uber to the bus station. Quiet and the staff was nice plus the breakfast was great but farther than I planned so my issue. Town very quiet but the people seemed nice."

"Stand in a Dutch home was a wonderful experience. If you are an overweight American walking up the stairs with your luggage is going to be a major struggle if you stay at this place, make sure you bring small bags for luggage and again if you are afraid of heights or you are a large person, I would not recommend it"

"First, the staff were amazing, so welcoming and efficient. One thing I did notice is the bartender in the Oriole restaurant didn’t have a swamper to help restock glasses and fill up ice. She was very busy but still gracious."

"I love the original of the hotel overall. The very classic look of every walls, doors, ceilings, lightings etc. Love your bed and pillows. This is a big plus. ❤️But the room with the tub is not very practical."

"We arrived early (like 9AM) and the hotel was "under pressure" to give us our room ASAP. So we booked two beds in a room, we reminded them about the two beds, yet we got the single king bed setup in our room. They made good on the bed configuration relatively quickly and from then on, the stay was perfect. We liked the room, the luxury toiletries provided, the concierge service was extremely helpful, and we dined in all three restaurants, and the experience was really 5 start plus. Will stay...

"The property was perfectly situated for walkability all around Amsterdam. Because it is in the center of the city, it can take a longer time to get out of town to the airport or windmills, so do plan accordingly. The area is extremely safe and minutes away from canal tours, the red light district, world class shopping, and so many eateries! I will definitely check this place first on my next trip back to the Netherlands."
