"Pub very nice. Room good too - only moan is the ridiculously small wash basin, with no room for either soap or hand wash bottle. Lovely Continental breakfast choice - even warmed the pastries and lots of choice. The cooked breakfast wasn't great. Some items were cool others hot enough. The sausage was quite dense with chewy skins, hard to cut. The streaky bacon was pale and appeared undercooked (didn't look appetising), although it tasted ok. Would certainly recommend The Dolphin to other travellers, but it is slightly more expensive than others"

"The hotel is being renovated at moment some areas done I believe they are working on rooms over the winter the room we stayed in was very dusty but beds comfortable."

"Nice clean and modern room, quiet and peaceful night of sleep with comfy bed, bathroom a bit outdated but was perfectly fine. Only things I would say were a bit annoying were breakfast being so busy (appreciate we did stay on a saturday and sunday night in the summer holidays) and the hair dryer wasnโt working in the room. Paying for parking was bit much but expected due to location. Staff were very friendly and helpful particularly as we had a late arrival! Also great to be next to Miller and Carter."

"The staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms spacious and clean, quiet and comfortable. The driving range was convenient, staffed by helpful and funny people. padel was also very quick to get to. It was easy going and relaxed. OK, the weather was great and thatโs the icing on the cake."
