"We were staying to celebrate our anniversary and I was confirmed over the message that they will give us a cup cake and a bottle of bubbles to celebrate. But I got only bottle of bubbles even after speaking to them in person. They agreed to send cup cake and a candle to our room but they didn’t. It wasn’t a pleasant stay after this incident."

"Beautiful place and at a breath taking spot. Staff in the front were very helpful. Good, clean and the most important thing is that its private for the guests. There is a security at the entrance of the pier so nobody can come in. Guests can take walks at the pier, but not the whole pier but some areas. Security was very helpful and understanding. 2 things that need work are: 1. Pillows: the pillows were a pain in the neck. 2. The body wash: our room had an empty bottle of body wash and wasn't...

"Loved the Royal Sonesta! The beds and pillows were all very soft and not our preference, but we still loved our stay. The signature lobby scent smelled so good! (Is there a Sonesta Lobby candle I can buy!? lol). The location could not be better in downtown Chicago. Staff was so friendly. 10/10 would recommend!"
