"They didn’t clean our room even when I requested to be cleaned and we had to go and request towels and paper, breakfast is not good at all. "

"Check-in was smooth and efficient, which made for a good start to the stay. However, the booking process was a bit misleading. When I searched on Expedia, it indicated that breakfast was included, but this turned out to be an extra charge at checkout. I initially assumed, given it’s the USA that this would mean a buffet-style breakfast. In reality, it was limited to selecting one item from a menu. We chose the oatmeal, which was fine, but not quite what we expected based on the description. That said, the breakfast experience itself had some positives. The lady serving was super friendly and welcoming, and the coffee was very good especially the freshly brewed decaf, which isn’t always as nice as regular coffee. It was a nice touch to have two bottles of water in the room on arrival. The quilt on the bed, however, was very thin. Luckily, with two queen beds, we were able to use the cover from the other bed to stay comfortable. To be fair, we chose not to have the heating on overnight, but a thicker quilt would still have been appreciated. One tip for future guests: don’t get confused when booking an Uber or Lyft, there are two Aloft hotels in town, so it’s worth double-checking your destination. Overall, a mixed experience with some thoughtful touches, but also a few areas that could be improved. Gym was awesome !"

"Breakfast is amazing so much selection, location is amazing! A block off of the Magnificent Mile and 10 min walk to train station. Many restaurants/shops nearby. The room was nice but you must leave a key im the room to keep your fan or heat going. Shampoo/shower supplies are nice.. *watch for hidden costs! Also they may say check in is at 3, but they told us our room was still not ready an hour after the time we were supposed to be able to check in… "

"Loved the suite, connecting rooms! Needs a bit of renovating for rugs and wood! No room service!! Ok lobby. "

"Fridge was broken. Requested microwave via text before arrival, maintenance brought us one and informed us we were put in the wrong room. Brought us a new fridge but said to just put a small amount in the mini fridge and it will work. So we put one pack of hotdogs and homemade lunchables. We woke up to a wet carpet and spoiled dinners! I had to clean it up! No offer for free meals at the diner after this!Vent in our room was packed full of dust !I emailed the property as soon as I reserved a room letting them know I have a service dog, the breed and size as well as informing them that she would be with me at all times, never left unattended in the room. When checking into the hotel the front desk lady tried to charge me for a dog fee. I informed her (along with our dogs vest and documents (and I legally do not have to do that) that they can not charge for service and that I emailed them prior to arrival . She said she would look on the computer and informed me that I did not let them know. I pulled up the contact direct with the hotel and showed her that o most certainly did. She rolled her eyes and said “you didn’t but I will put it in the system for you now!” Breakfast is not for everyone in the room and it is not a buffet. They give you 2 cards for each morning (scribbled out in black sharpie the word buffet right in front of us) then informed us if the other 2 paying adults in the room want breakfast or would be $30.00 each! Free drink not available until 7:00pm "

"Hotel and hotel staff were friendly and accounting however unfortunately the valet they were partnered with caused damage to the vehicle we were in. Both the hotel and valet had bad communication with each other and could not find a resolution to the problem. Which unfortunately caused me to have to rate the experience a 3/5. If you have a car that you value do NOT book here. "

"Room was slightly small and there was no microwave. But for the most part enjoyed my stay."
