"This lovely hotel, in the tiny, unpretentious village of Drake Bay, was wonderful. I am an amateur wildlife photographer. The manager gave me Room 1, with an enormous window that looks out onto a guarumo tree. In this tree arrived, in turn, a toucan, a pair of aracaris, tanagers, tityrus, caracaras, golden-naped woodpeckers, multiple iguanas, hummingbirds - it was simply incredible. "The view from absolutely everywhere is stunning. We had the chance to see a plethora of birds and monkeys from our little pool in our balcony. The drive there is a little challenging but the location makes it all worth it. Taking a shower indoor/outdoor is one of a lifetime experience. "

"Hotel Villa Drake is a lovely small family run hotel at the top of the small town. The family are very friendly and happy to help, they cooked us a fresh breakfast every morning, even when we needed it at 5:20am.
