"This was a great find for us. It's quiet and it of the way. Peaceful and set in rice paddy fields whilst only 10 minute walk to the Indo/StarMart or Babi Guling. "This place far exceeded my expectations and I wish I could have stayed longer. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left I was treated like family. The staff greeted me with fresh juice and an offer to make me dinner. The next morning Valorie(one of the owners) facetimed me and made sure everything was good and generously offered me a massage. "When we arrived at the hotel they did not have our booking in their system and looked very surprised to see anyone there. We were the only guests at the entire hotel, but they still did not have a room available for us at 3.30pm when we arrived. We got our room at 4.30pm but was told we should wait 1 hour with using the private pool as they had just put in the chlorine. The rooms are a bit messy and dusty. "A beautiful setting with wonderful staff, even if one or two lacked attentiveness. The bamboo bungalow was beautiful. The bed and beddings were 5/5; very comfortable. Unfortunately, the accolades stop there. Because the "retreat" is so remote, there are no other eating options nearby so guests have to rely on the hotel restaurant.
