"We LOVED our stay at The Screen. The room was a wonderful size, beautifully decorated, with a sliding door separating the bed from the couch area. The staff was incredibly helpful and thoughtful- we felt like they personalized our stay with origami in the bedroom and a note on our breakfast platters the final day. The area was amazing! Close to the park and buses, only a 10 minute walk from the metro line, and 15 minutes from amazing shopping and dining options. 10/10 would stay there again!! "

"We loved this hotel, and had a great 4 day stay in Kyoto. Very upscale and peaceful, in a quiet, non-touristy neighbourhood, with lots of convenient travel options. And we ended up in nearby underground jazz bar Zac Baran twice, as well as a tiny local restaurant about 15 minutes walk west, same side of street as hotel, called kawahigashi (it also says 'food and beverage' in English outside). "Great customer service! We arrived earlier around 1ish and checked our luggage’s in first. When we came back, room cards are all ready and luggages were carried in our room in advance. The premium coffee machine produced the best tasty coffee of all hotels I tried so far. The cafeteria was lovely.
