"very clean room and the staff are nice, but no small fridge in the room. That's the only negative point for me"

"The pictures were false. This is a motel - the room was very smelly and very old. They put us at the back of the hotel with crackheads which was scary. The key card stopped working multiple times. The pool was unusable and dirty. The staff said they can not clean it. Overall, dissatisfied and not tooo happy."

"Clean place. With good breakfast. Stay four nights but the room just clean twice. No bottle water supply except two from front desk. No hot water boiling kettle in room. Room electronic such as phone, alarm clock, iron etc stay in last century old fashion style. Only the newer equippment is the flat screen TV. You need to bring along your own comb, tooth brush, slipper, hair care and bath roth. It is a bare room with almost nothing."

"I stay here a lot for airport layovers. Nice people, nice place. The beds and pillows are so comfy and clean. It's always very quiet. There are several good restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this for a stay. The airport bus has been reliable."

"We just completed our stay at the Holiday Inn Golden Gateway. Our room was very comfortable and clean with a beautiful view of the San Francisco skyline. The hotel is right at the start of the cable car route on California Avenue which made it a fun way to get around the city."

"With the exception of the shuttle ending at 11pm and missing it due to a flight delay it was fine. Other local hotels have shuttles operating after this, Bay Landing why dont you?"

"I came back because I enjoyed my stay last year. I wanted to check in slightly early. This year I arrived I was not told that I had early checkin or late check in option for extra cost and found out later I was given wrong information at the desk. The hotel was clean although housekeeping is every other day. I asked for extra towels and they were quick. "

"The Handlery has maintained some of the original character of the hotel while updating for modern convenience. The staff are polite, helpful, and very accommodating. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, and the convenience and proximity to downtown and restaurants makes it very walkable inconvenient. Half a block to the trolley on Powell Street. Half a block to Union Square station. We would definitely stay here again for both business and pleasure."
