"The Cozy House looks just as it does in the pictures. I love the location in the hills of Santa Teresa. I searched long and hard for a location outside of the tourist area, but close enough to enjoy the sights and a room with a view of more than the building next door. Cozy House checked all of the boxes. The staff was accommodating and helpful. The room was pretty clean. I did notice a few overlooked areas, but nothing alarming or that made me feel uncomfortable. The breakfast was...

"From the moment you walk in, everything was well arranged. Staff is friendly, hotel has gorgeous art and has a sense of serenity in a bustling city like Rio. It’s worth its 5 stars and awards! The buildings in Santa Teresa are lovely and there are quite a few restaurants in walking distance also close to the Steps. Overall I felt safe in this neighbourhood and I would definitely stay at this hotel again!"

"Good room, bad internet"

"Room was spacious, clean and the views from this hotel are breathtaking from the rooftops to the breakfast buffet. Breakfast buffet phenomenal with so many varieties of food, even had an ice cream station. Front desk staff very friendly, professional and are bilingual. Location is perfect. Uber station pick up/drop off conveniently in front of hotel. Can walk through hotel on the upper floor straight to the adjacent mall. Rooms are sound proof quiet. Several lounges casual and upscale. Gym has a...

"The staff was nice a hotel was clean. Might be an unsafe neighborhood for non locals as I did get my phone snatched late at night and the locals told me it happens often in this area"

"Every was great"
