Was very apprehensive about staying in Lapa but after arriving I felt so much better. The hotel is in a perfect spot which made it easy to see Santa Teresa, the Lapa arches and sample local nightlife in Lapa. The staff were all so helpful and made our stay perfect. Would definitely stay again if I come back to Rio.

I needed a place for the night and this served well. The breakfast was great. Only negative remark would’ve that there was no towel in the room. Otherwise definitely a place I’d pick again

It’s an OK hotel. The breakfast is not great, but at least it is included. The hotel doesn’t provide shampoo or body wash, which is ridiculous in my opinion. I’d rather have basic necessities than a pool and breakfast. The location is very central and busy and there’s a lot of things around, which is nice. But it’s not the safest area.

Lots of noise and chaos, the room is incredibly small, the A/C you couldn’t regulate it was a straight freezer in there with no proper bed sheets to cover yourself at all. The breakfast was subpar. I took a triple room. But if you are more than one person they charge you extra per person which makes absolutely no sense since I booked a TRIPLE. Overall I feel completely scammed out of my money. The 24/7 noise

The staff are generally friendly. Our first check-in at 3pm at Monte Alegre was smooth by friendly staff. Two days after, we decided to stay two extra days and paid via Expedia. I reached front desk at 8am to inform our extension, the in- charge staff suddenly picky about my reservation displayed name (a English called name) not match my passport name (a Chineses Canadian). The other two staff appeared not willing to help me. I connected to Expedia and made them discussed on my phone. Still i got stuck with non-refundable paid, frustrated and upset. Looking back been travel latin America for 8 years, i never be picky on this issue. Expedia identified that's me who paid reservation and I carried my legal stamped passport. Why picky? Due to his bad mood or dislike Asian foreigner? My wife suggested check out first and come back later. As expected, we met same afternoon staff and he proceeded as what he did two days ago without issue. Hotel Managers should maintain good customer service spirit of front desks.

Hotel bem localizado na Lapa, com ampla variedade de comércio no entorno. A decoração é charmosa e o hotel, silencioso. Os quartos são confortáveis e limpos, com apenas uma opção de cobertor para cada cama. Todos contam com decoração padrão: escrivaninha, armário com cofre, mesa de cabeceira e frigobar. Possui piscina, academia, sauna e restaurante, onde é servido somente o café da manhã. A piscina tem um tamanho bom, mas não é aquecida. De manhã não pega Sol; somente à tarde. O hotel é limpo e bem organizado Os funcionários são, em sua maioria, bastante prestativos, e fui muito bem atendida por 3 deles. Acessibilidade é bastante limitada para PcDs. O acesso aos elevadores a partir do Hall requer subir 2 lances de escada, e há mais um lance para chegar ao bloco 2. Para acessar o buffet do café da manhã, também há um lance de escadas no restaurante. O hotel não conta com muitas amenidades, disponibilizando somente 2 sabonetes pequenos e um secador de cabelo no banheiro. O chuveiro é muito pequeno. Faltam escova e pasta de dente, desodorante, touca de banho, shampoo, condicionador e outras amenidades que hotéis antigamente costumavam disponibilizar. Hotel excelente para estadias curtas. O café vai das 6h às 11h. O check in é às 14h. Fica a 5 min de carro do metrô e perto do Flamengo. Boa opção se você busca um lugar limpo e bem cuidado, com um farto café da manhã. El hotel está bien mantenido, habitación comoda y actualizada. Nos asignaron una habitación cuadruple superior que tenía 2 habitaciones, 1 con cama matrimonial y la otra con 2 camas, y un baño privado, cómoda y bien decorada el problema es que estaba al frente sobre la calle y era impresionantemente ruidosa, música fuerte de los puestos de la calle, tránsito, bocinas todo el tiempo hasta tardicimo en la noche y temprano en la mañana, gente a los gritos en la calle, un infierno realmente, tendrían que reemplazar las ventanas para insonorizar el ambiente.

El desayuno variado y todo delicioso. La limpieza de todo el hotel es fantástica. Todo el staff es muy amable y eficiente. Volveré sin dudas. La habitación y el baño estaban modernos y lindos, hermoso el piso de madera de la habitación.
