"What a great find! The staff were fabulous: professional, helpful, friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast too, a very comfortable room and the luxury of a bath and separate shower. The bar area was lovely too and we enjoyed the ambience there after our meal out. Highly recommended and will most definitely return. Close proximity to Guildhall art gallery too - a new find for me complete with Roman Amphitheatre. "

"The location was so central. Right in the centre of London. Close to everything theatres shops and the best restaurants. The hotel is basic ie no windows and small rooms but hey I never go to London to sit in a hotel room. The bed was comfortable and the shower/ toilet was spotless and efficient. Loved the place and will be back again"

"We were upgraded on arrival to a studio and it was amazing! Good size, great bathroom, quiet and felt like utter luxury. I even got complimentary bubbles and posh fruit jellies in my room for my birthday. I felt utterly spoilt and the staff were so friendly, they couldn’t do enough for us. Amazing boutique hotel and hope to return soon. Thank you!"

"Arrived in our room and were immediately disappointed with the quality of the accommodation, the wood furniture was worn and chipped in some places and had a metal screw pointing outwards to keep a cupboard closed, which could have caught someone’s leg. We asked to change the room which the helpful receptionist did, which was slightly better and whilst the furniture was still tired and worn, at least it was safe enough. On a positive note, the view from the room we chose was great overlooking the impressive Tower Bridge. We had a lovely dinner in the hotel’s Vicinity restaurant on the first night and the staff were very friendly. We used the lovely cocktail bar on the first floor a couple of times , staff were very friendly and helpful and would definitely recommend a visit there for a night cap . Overall, the hotel had a lot of good features including the views over the impressive Tower Bridge, however, the worn and tired bedrooms that we were in, was not in keeping with what a major hotel in this landmark location should be . "

"The hotel exceeded all expectations. We arrived and our room was not quite ready. The check in staff offered us a voucher for two glasses of champagne while we waited; they then come to find us to tell us the room was ready and they had upgraded us. We had a lovely room with a nice view. On the way back after dinner we stopped at 12th knot for a couple of cocktails and enjoyed the atmosphere and great view over St Paul’s. Our room was on the 9th floor, not the biggest room we have ever stayed at, but a good size, with a nice bathroom and decent amenities. My only comment is that it would be nice if there was a mirror by the desk so that it can be used as a dresser. The bed was comfortable and the hotel quiet, no slamming doors through the night like in other hotels. A very enjoyable stay. "
