"The entrance feels somewhat chaotic as there is a children’s destination at that level with many children unable to distinguish between their surroundings and the hotel reception area. There beds in the rooms are comfortable but a number of items were neglected. Our tv remote never worked in the living room and the phone needed to be changed. Similarly the shower had issues with the shampoo dispenser. The hotel is well located and the door staff are helpful."

"The room was very comfortable with a bathrobe, slippers, tea and coffee sets and a mini bar, as well as good ac and a nice bed. The free water stations offer still and sparkling water. Room service food was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel has an exit on a walkway along the Thames that is a pleasant 20 minute stroll to the Tate Modern and Millennium Bridge. Blackfriars tube station is a bit over a block away."

"Room was spacious and very clean, and housekeeping service was timely and carefully completed every day. Staff (concierge, bartenders, servers, housekeepers) were all extremely professional and polite, very friendly and helpful. Facility had a stunning and fabulous lobby sporting 4 different restaurants, 5 bars and entertainment with multiple different bands daily, playing wide selection of music, from smooth, laid back jazz, to pop rock, to edgy blues, and very much in between. Walking into the lobby was a joy to behold whenever we came back to the hotel. Beautiful pool, library and reading room in lower levels, with large and very well equipped fitness center. Neighborhood in financial district was busy but quieted down on the weekends, (which was a relief from the madding crowd). Just an amazing venue that we would come back to anytime! The only disappointment was that the rooftop terrace and bar were only accessible to club members, not just any hotel guests, (as was advertised on the expedia website)."
