This property needs a deep clean and some renovations. However, the location is perfect! We walked to the Pantheon (daily), as well as to Trivoli Fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Colliseum, and the Vatican. There are lots of shopping options, and dining (and gelato) right outside the front door.

Upgraded landfill marketed as a hotel

This is not a hotel! Look at the photos (unfortunately I can only attach 8) —I’ll let them speak for themselves. The pictures shown on the website are completely misleading I would say its afraud! I spend over 70 nights a year in hotels, both for work and leisure. I’m a Gold Member on Hotels.com and Top Level in another hotel chain. This is, without question, the worst experience I have ever had in 20 years! Stay here if you enjoy dirty environments, mold in the bathroom, and sagging mattresses. You’ll also get the added bonus of listening to street conversations two floors below, thanks to the poor soundproofing windows. I originally planned to stay here for five nights but checked out after just one. Despite this, both the "hotel" and Hotels.com/Expedia refuse to refund the €1,500 I paid—even though Hotels.com/Expedia admit that the photos do not match reality. The owner is not available and refuses to speak on the phone, all contact must be made in writing. There is a lot to say but nothing positive, but a funny thing was that the hotel we changed to had previously received guests who had left this place the same as we did. /Henrik

Vägglöss på hotellet. När vi efter några dagar äntligen fick tag på ansvarig i receptionen möttes vi av dåligt bemötande. Fick tillbaka en mycket liten andel av vad hotellet kostade.

The worst hotel I have ever seen in my life. No skirting boards in the room or bathroom. Shower had mold growing in it. There were hairs on the toilet and bidet when we entered the property. Had a terrible smell from the bathroom. Would not let my worst enemy in life stay here. Will never return to this hotel or use expedia again. Terrible customer service and overall experience

The property is located in central Storico 2 minutes from Pantheon, 5 or 10 min to Travis Fountain, 12 min to Spanish Steps. Great shopping and Restaurants nearby. Our unit had 3 beds in apartment. We stayed with my wife and two adult sons. Our bed was comfortable and they each had their own beds (one on a loft and another separately partitioned. The unit had 2 full baths and a kitchen. Awesome stay.

Beds, AC and location are great, not the cleanest

Beds were comfortable, AC was great, location was fantastic. The condition of the apartment could have been better, shower heads were full of limescale, some sockets were missing covers, was quite dusty by the windows. It also doesn't come across as all the beds are in one room with a loft and a separated half wall. Not much privacy if you're going as a couple and with friends.

The staff and service were very bad. From the day we got in, there was no hot water, the air conditioner was dripping, and toilet was not flushing. When we told the staff, they said it’s working fine. It was never fixed. We showered with cold water for 3 days. I was surprised with Expedia putting this hotel as a 4 star hotel and honoring their service.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. If you want to save money it's fine, and the location is amazing. But no one is there to check you in after 2pm, so we had to wait 40 minutes. The toilet was on the fritz. They said someone would come by to help us with setting up the second bed and they never did. The rooms are meh. But location you can't beat. I just wouldn't stay there again.

hotel in a pedestrian only street. impossible to park since it’s in an extremely touristic area, so forget about bringing big luggage, you’ll have to pass through crowded piazzas and narrow coblestone street. If you’re driving, parking is impossible. the nearest parking is a 15 min walk across the tiber river. Room is not as shown in the picture, no sofa bed, only one double bed. The only positive fact about this hotel: you’re in the tourist area, walking distance from every interesting site in Rome

Mold on ceiling of shower. Flooring not like pictures in photos, there is no wood flooding. It has ugly decor not like pictures posted on expedia. No laundry facilities as is stated in amenities, they said washer has been broken a long time. Ran out of toilet paper. One night no hot water, had to take a very cold shower, no one on property site to call or fix it. Terrible property, so many issues. Location is the only redeeming factor. Would never recommend this place.

Overall, this place was fine. The layout is a little weird, but we had plenty of room and liked having two bathrooms for 5 people. We loved the location, just a block or so from Pantheon, our favorite “old, old” building in Rome. There was a kitchen inside our apartment but we didn’t really use it. There was another kitchen in a common area outside our door but things looked unclean and messy. We were hoping for a coffee maker for the mornings and we saw one in the common area, but went to use it and couldn’t find any filters. The check in was almost a disaster. They asked what time we would arrive, I messaged back around 1:30. We got there a little before 1:30 and bumped into someone leaving the building with a bike. Turns out he was the guy to check us in. Had we arrived one minute later, he would have been gone.

Hotel worked for easy access to Pantheon and other old city attractions. Reception seemed to be rarely present—no one was there at check in and the luggage storage option was a common space of several rooms with a code, which didn’t feel very secure. Water pressure was extremely low and rooms while clean need a deep scrub.
