Great location but worn down

Location was fabulous and the front desk/valet staff was outstanding. Breakfast staff were rude and more concerned with making sure we paid/signed the bill than making sure we had everything we needed for the meal. At one point one of us just wanted to drop off a vitamin for someone else in the family who was eating and they were trying to charge us even though we weren't eating. We were also surprised with the condition on the room. While overall it was comfortable and clean the room was very worn down compared to previous Westin hotels we have stayed in. The shower also kept flooding the bathroom and into the hall no matter how many towels we put down on the floor. Just very surprising for a Westin.
