"The hotel was wonderful. Its location is perfect for an easy walk to the waterfront and cbd. The room was fantastic, really warm in the winter months. Staff were helpful and friendly, and the complementary breakfast set me up for the day. "

"Winter escape in a waterview room. Third time staying at Macq 1 in 4 years & it is still in immaculate condition. Decor has be updated as needed to ensure a 5 star experience. Room had a beautiful view of the wharf, very clean, bathrooms are spacious & extremely clean. Rooms are serviced daily. Room service was delicious & quick. Will continue to stay at Macq 1 when visiting Hobart. Hotel & rooms are all warm and cosy."

"The property was very nice and we were able to find it just after dark with communication from the host. The cabin had a sunken living room and loads of windows to see nature through. There were pull down shades for privacy as needed. Having a washer and dryer in the unit with laundry soap provided was very helpful.
