Great location - directly opposite tessellated pavement and a short walk to the sandy beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival. Booked a Mountain View Superior King Room. Room was very clean and tidy. Bit on the small side, but very fresh (recently renovated) and comfortable. Room had no A/C, even though advertised that it did - this made the room a bit stuffy overnight. Dined at restaurant - staff very friendly, prompt service, and very good meal. Plenty of onsite parking, though may not be near your room. Would stay again.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The room is clean and right next to the
Tessellated Pavement, very convenient.
This hoktel is in a fairly remote location with little around it in terms of accommodation or restaurants. That said, they do a decent job with food and drinks. Not great for vegetarian options, however. Also, no lift to the 2nd floor in the hotel, only stairs. But overall, we had a pleasant stay at the Lufra Beach Hotel.
Fantastic place , lovely view from our room, shared balcony..clean , comfortable and well serviced and friendly and helpful staff. Reasonably price and good food at the restaurant bar with a view of Port Arthur HS..
Back door enterance to PAHS.if you want to borriw the key .

Everything was a little run down. View was nice and bed comfy. No fan or aircon.
Friendly service and wonderful views. A great self-contained unit with kitchenette and washer/dryer. Excellent value. Would stay again and will recommend to others.
Fabulous location, with walks along the beaches and to the tessellated pavement. Short drives to many more viewpoints and attractions. The facility has a lot of history and is slated for a modern upgrade. Sure to be top of the line.

This hotel has got so much potential but they just seem to have missed the mark. The location was great, the room was fine also. The restaurant bar set up not so great, food orders taken in the restaurant but you have to line up a second time in the bar if you also want a drink. No option for hot breakfast also not great. The hotel really could be a destination in it'self with a little love.
The proximity to the beach is fantastic and the views were lovely. The room was clean but dusty, spacious and good for a family however it is quite dated. They don't change towels for stays under three nights which is problematic when trying to keep four towels dry without proper hanging rails/hooks. The shower screen was very short which meant the bathroom floor was very wet all of the time. The kitchenette was great to be able to cook dinner and breakfasts as there aren't a lot of options nearby.
This was the best hotel we stayed at on our trip down under. It was so good that we were very close to changing our plan to spend another night. Everything was perfect, the room, the staff, the dining facilities. We loved the location (right next to the Tessellated Pavement) and hope to someday have the chance to come back. Thank you so much to everyone at Lufra Beachside Hotel!
Perfect spot for seeing the peninsula. Lovely room looking out onto Pirate Bay that has the tessellated pavement. The Lufra has an old world charm that’s comfortable and unpretenscious.
The room was upgraded for us and our view was amazing. There was a spa, washibg machine and beds were comfortable.
The shower screen glass was tiny and every time we had a shower we had to spare 10 mins to clean up, but otherwise we loved the room and the staff. Dinner at the resturant was quite nice.
2 bedroom spa apartment on the smaller size but enough room for a couple and maybe a third person but a little cramped for a family if staying for more than a night..
balcony was nice to sit on with great views off the beach.
Unfortunately when washing a few dishes found there was no hot water flowing from kitchen sink, dishwasher had seals damaged so was reluctant to use..
Couch or bed not all that comfortable but pillows where super..
Televisions didnt get great reception and are not smart TV’s but unless you are planning to be in your room a lot not an issue
The smaller shower screen for people who are tall makes for an interesting shower eg: you end up washing the whole bathroom.. water pressure Devine!
Staffing was mostly accommodating apart from the young lady behind the bar on Sunday night, when enquiring about pizzas which are clearly on a menu online was made to feel like I had asked for her first born child.
We dined in the restaurant and not the greatest we had. Coffee on the other hand was great and service from the lady Saturday morning was excellent..
The close walk to the beach was perfect for go for a lovely stroll at any point..
Overall this place once it has a few minor things repaired and updated would be a more pleasant place to stay especially when paying nearly $1000 for a 3 night stay.
