"We were given a beautiful spacious room that accommodated the 5 of us giving us plenty of comfort and space. The room was clean end everything in perfect working condition. Location was perfect and the staff very helpful. "

"Staff: very helpful and friendly Rooms: Huge!! we had the family room, the rooms was more than enough and very comfortable. we had kitchen, dining area, large bathroom and beds that are comfortable. All the facility in this hotel are new and nice! love the seating area at the roof top. there is laundry downstairs, money changer at the lobby. Transportation: very near to the bus stops, 5 mins walk to the bus station. The nearest train station is about 1km away which is not bad. "

"Easy to find, close to train station. Short walk to busy area nearby for food and shopping, pretty easy access to public transport for everything we wanted to check out in Kyoto. The apartment layout was great, perfect for our family with young children. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!"

"We stayed at 4 different hotels in Japan and this one was our favourite. We were grateful to check in earlier (1pm) rather than 3pm. The hotel has a reception that is manned early in the morning to late in the evening. It is about 10 mins walk to Kyoto Station and the area outside the hotel is quiet. "Loved the washer/dryer in the room! Didn’t have to worry about going off property or a shared room to wash our clothes. This hotel was conveniently tucked in a neighborhood with a bunch of shopping store fronts near by. Being within a few minutes walking to gion, I’d recommend this place to anyone visiting Kyoto!"

"This was a very central location to be based. Literally a few metres from a main area with lots of food and restaurant choices, 5-10 mins walk to the Geisha area, and about a 10 minutes walk to Kymiozu temple and a shopping street offering further food and restaurant choices as well as souvenirs. There were local buses available all along the street from the hotel and everywhere was easily accessed. The hotel itself was clean and beds were very comfortable. Would recommend it as an ideal...

"Best place for solo female traveller to stay if u wanna go around gion-uji-biwa area. It’s located infront of main road and it’s easy to spot the hotel. It’s also easy to bring your luggage from sanjo station. The room space is spacious and i really wanted to extend my stay for one day but i have other plans."
