"I stay in around 100 places each year for work and this was bad. Poor quality fittings and fixtures vey well used. No soap, shower door didn’t close, toilet on some kind of strange plinth. Laminate falling to bits. No Freeview or terrestrial tv, streaming only but WiFi is so bad it doesn’t work at peak times 2 mattresses on bed bottom one very grubby I think it’s a converted garage. May suit someone with low standards I ended up leaving after 2 nights stayed last night elsewhere "

"We had a lovely stay here. Everyone was very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Upon arrival we had to wait for our room to be ready and had a drink in the garden which was so peaceful. Our room was very spacious and we had alot of space to put our clothes away, the bed was nice but it was two beds put together and it was very clear, but nothing major still had the best sleep. The shower was amazing great water pressure and good temperature. "

"The staff were amazing and the room was very clean. The view from the room was amazing. The only fault I could give was the WiFi was very inconsistent. Sometimes it was adequate other times I couldn’t get any signal and I wouldn’t be able to stream on the lowest settings without it buffering constantly."

"I arrived with a blown out tyre only to find that I was actually booked into the northbound hotel not the south bound one. Staff were amazing swapped my booking over to the southbound one helped me organise a mobile tyre company and were kind and compassionate."

"Easy check in and the hostess was friendly and helpful. The room had pretty much anything you could wish for in it. Very well equipped room, lovely linen and a super comfy bed with different firmness of pillows. Nespresso machine, mini fridge, DAB radio, large TV, Dyson fan, Iron, Hairdrier, all great! Checkout was easy the next day. Just a shame we couldn’t have stayed for longer and made better use of everything. Many thanks! "

"The Old Vine is a wonderful property. It blends historic charm with the best of modern comfort. The breakfast is served generously and quite delicious. We must mention Mitchell who does it all and made our stay even more special. Thanks!
