"The staff was so nice and friendly. They helped us with any requests. The whole place was very clean and had that rustic charm I was looking for. The view of the river plus the fireplace made it so special for a winter getaway. It has free parking and breakfast included. The food was perfect. We walked everywhere since all places are so close by. Would 100% recommend and go back ourselves and stay there every time."

"Everyone here from the staff to the other guests were amazing. The only thing that happened that could be considered negative was the elevator broke down while we were on it and wouldn't open its doors. We called the front desk from a cell phone and they immediately jumped into action to ensure we were ok with our baby and that the elevator was back up and running in a timely manner. I will not fault them for the elevator as it was not their fault and we were only stuck on it for approximately 2...

"Everyone nice. Rooms are nice for the price and not being "corporate." This is definitely a family owned place, thus, the reason for staying here in comparison to giving money to corporate. Some issues with keyless entry and elevator but not a deal breaker. Some rooms are getting renovated."

"It’s no 5 star hotel but I give it 5 stars because for the price you pay, it’s really great. Staff helpful, clean room, great location, and a really beautiful creek going through it right outside the back porch. I’ll go back when I come to Gatlinburg."
