"Wonderful family stay at Casa Azul Maya! We did have a ground floor room which was a bit more humid - but the AC kept it cool and it was fine for all of us. Beds were comfortable, staff helpful and room was cleaned everyday with fresh bath and beach towels as needed. The partnership with Loretta’s was perfect; amazing breakfasts, access to pool and ocean were picturesque. South side of the island is much calmer and slower pace -with great food, coffee and Punta Sur—- we’d come back in a heart...

The woman checking people in couldn’t speak any English and upon arrival their credit card machine wasn’t working. It took us over 45 minutes waiting for her to troubleshoot the problem before she let us into the room. "Room wasn’t clean"

"The resort was nice but it was a bit far from the central part of Isla Mujeres. Very nice staff and helpful. The pool does need to be maintained more. I noticed slim on the pool tile. The beach side of the hotel is not the best it has a lot of rocks and it’s not a very open areas to swim."

"While the room itself was nice....the location is terrible. There is a view of the ocean, but it's across the street...so it's an ocean view but not ocean front. There is a gas station right beside the room...constant lines of traffic. there is a speed bump right in front, so all vehicles slow down. Two bright street lights shining into the room all night. I would certainly not recommend and def would not stay there again."

"I thought they promised more in their Expedia ad than was delivered: no airport pickup / round trip, no restaurant, bar. Poorly designed signage and I was in a taxi. The property was clean despite a couple of nights of storms. The room was clean and comfortable in spite of the high ass humidity."
