"Our stay at this hotel was fantastic. The staff were incredibly helpful, and the pool and surrounding sights were breathtaking. However, one issue arose: during our night there, the fire alarms went off, forcing everyone to evacuate. Unfortunately, there was no follow-up communication with guests about the incident."

"Beachside Motel is just simply awesome. The rooms are clean, updated with great beds and bedding and the rooms smell clean when you walk in. It is super close to the beach and the pool by the beach is awesome too. Fresh coffee in the lobby with snacks is nice too. We will definitely return. A hidden gem in the heart of Amelia Island !!"

"My daughter & I and our dogs had a great stay here. The room was very spacious & clean. The staff were all very nice & helpful. The pool is beautiful & fun watching the "bubble" men make huge bubbles to delight the kids (and adults as well)!! Great restaurants across the street as well as the beach! Perfect location!"

"Everything was great. Just some things I didn't like was the swimming pool is very small and only is 4.5 feet deep. With teenagers that is like a kiddie pool. Elevators are slow, hot and take too lonĝ to open once stopped. Breakfast was ok.But the motel was clean, staff friendly and walking distance to beach."

"Everything about the Hoyt House is exceptional.. it is located in the heart of the old town, within walking distance of some great restaurants and shopping. The staff is attentive without being obstrusive. Lindy and David, the owners, are warm and welcoming and they are you will want to be your newest best friends."
