This was are second trip to the resort. We last stayed in January of 2023. The good very clean, food was amazing, nice staff, improvements being made to the resort including adding another tower. The bad no chairs available by the pools or beach after 9:45am, beach area very small, short staff which made wait times longer, being sold as a family resort personally feel that it is set up for couples. Based on cost to stay and how busy we will not be making a third trip back to the resort.

Room was beautiful and comfortable. But could not sit on balcony. It was noisy! The road and construction. Property will be adding building for the next 5 plus years, so does not feel zen even though it wants to give the impression of zen with Buddha statues here and there . All the sales people running around the resort wanting to sell time share that now they have renamed but still the same bad investment. Did not feel zen once again. The food was good. Better than any other all inclusives and service was good, but there was an implied request for tips as you signed a check even though tips were supposed to be part of the all inclusive. I only like the mousai roof top pool, which is not accessible if you are not in that building , all other ones were too crowded and best spots reserved for “owners” Beach was not great, but that was expected for PV.

The room and the staff was absolutely amazing. I gave them a lower rating due to the concierge. You know going on vacation I want to relax not spend time hearing about a time share. I avoided the whole time share trap that is usually found at the airport and much to my disappointment I was met with it again at the hotel. The “concierge” was simply a staff member who’s sole focus was on having me and my husband sit through a time share presentation. When I politely declined I was met with the answer of “well your going to have breakfast anyway”. Which is correct, but I did not want to have breakfast with a staff member trying to sell me something. They tried to get you to come with “deals” on excursions which quite frankly where found for the same price online, as the supposed deal you get for sitting through a presentation. I voiced several times my lack of interest in this and did not get the lady to leave us alone until I gave her $20. Which is fine money is not an issue. I simply wanted to enjoy my vacation and time with my husband. This experience however led to just awkward run in’s with concierge in the lobby and just an overall really bad start to a vacation that would have otherwise been lovely.

This was the most beautiful hotel resort that I have ever stayed at. We can’t wait to come back again. All the employees were very nice, helpful, polite, kind, and funny. The room was spectacular. We had a junior suite with a hammock on a big balcony overlooking the ocean it was simply a magical vacation. Thank you Garza Blanca.

We noticed a few bad reviews before we arrived, but honestly this resort is amazing! Construction was limited, the food was perfection. The resort, views, and staff were all great. Will definitely look to come back to Garza Blanca some time in the future. Maybe when the resort is finished as it looked like they had at least one or two more towers being constructed.

We were very happy with our stay, but were disappointed at the lack of accommodations for those with mobility issues. No ADA rooms were available and the transport up the hill from the main hotel to our building required bellboy assistance each time because our 80 year old mother could not get up the step to the trolley.

Ocean front rooms are very noisy and outdated. HWY is just few metres behind the rooms, beach and pool. We were charged a security deposit at check in and they charged our credit card the sixth day of our stay for no reason (we stayed all inclusive). At our check out they said that our balance is zero and deposit will be credited automatically. Not true, they took almost 800 CAD or 10000 pesos and now nobody responds to our complaint.
