"Loved my stay! The staff was super friendly and nice, felt very welcomed. The room was comfortable and clean. Parking was easy and convenient. The breakfast was perfect, I also dinned in the restaurant and loved everything. Banana Toffee Waffle dessert is well worth the calories!"

"Very nice staff, very clean room, nice clean bathroom nice shower over the bath plenty of hot water good water pressure, 2 small bottles of shampoo and body wash and a small bar of soap towels provided. Nice room with desk and chairs the bed was comfortable. Not enough power points to charge your phone/laptop/watch no USB points especially difficult if two people have items to charge at the same time maybe bring an extension lead/plug. Car parking is charged and expensive especially if staying...

"We stayed at Woodhall hotel and spa for 4 nights in the lodges. There was not much natural light entering the room and noise can be heard from the adjoining room The building could do with some refurbishment The views and gardens are beautiful The staff were really excellent and nothing was too much trouble The food was equally good with some fabulous combinations and flavours and, they have an interesting wine list, if slightly on the pricey side. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you"

"Hollins Hall has been a great and grand hotel in the past I think. Does it need a revamp? Absolutely! That said, the bed was comfy. It caters for the golfing fraternity mostly it seems. Where Hollins Hall isn't as grand as the name might imply, we do stay there often as it's close to family we visit. In the broad scheme of things it's fine if you need a comfy bed for the night and it's very good value for money. "6 people stayed in our group. Disappointing that we were charged £25 per couple for early check-in. Even as it was only 30 minutes before normal check in. Reception was not up to speed with our bookings as we had pre-paid for everything but when we checked out they got mixed up and printed bill for full amount. Until we very politely informed them. Also whilst good range of breakfast delights very slow service"
