"Great spot. Room was clean, though small (room 101). It was difficult to store our luggage and the shelf above the small bathroom sink made face washing and teeth brushing difficult. However, the overall experience was great. Wonderful breakfast, service, location. Check in was smooth. We would stay again."

"This place is a hidden Gem !! Excellent service i had my service dog with me and they checked us in very nicely. The rooms are super clean, the bed is so comfortable like a 4 star hotel! It was a pleasure to stay in such a clean beautiful place. "

"This is a well-run, friendly motel, conveniently located for getting around Monterey, over to Carmel, or almost anywhere else on the Peninsula. Our “partial Ocean-view” room actually offered a great look down at the bay. Everything was clean and well maintained. We would happily stay here again."

"The Stargazer was such a pleasant surprise! The rooms were clean and comfortable. When we checked in we noticed that one of the beds in our room was broken. The hotel staff took care of the problem as quickly as they could. The coffee machine in the lobby was such a treat. So many choices and the coffee was great! We will definitely return to the Stagazer next the next time we are in Monterey!"
