"View from our room was stunning. Room was very clean and presentable. Good options for the continental breakfast. Very easy walking distance to town and the Coral Sea Marina. Only downside was restaurant closed very early, even on a Friday night. Lots of kids in and around the pool. Didn’t worry us but worth noting. Overall, great place to stay in Airlie. We will definitely return "

"We had a wonderful stay at Shingley Beach Resort. Great location, well appointed and spacious 1 bedroom apartment. The 2 pools and cafe on site were great. Our room had a beautiful view of the Marina and ocean. Easy walk to restaurants. Short drive to town centre. Would highly recommend. "

"Self contained, ground level, 1 bedroom apartment with water views. Staff were fantastic and the check in process was easy and efficient. Apartment was clean and well presented. The resort area is well maintained and the pool area was nice. Located near the Marina and out of the very busy and touristy heart of Airlie made for a relaxed and comfortable stay."

"Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und man ist mitten im Geschehen. Der Balkon ist groß und man hat Blick aufs Meer, auch wenn eine Straße dazwischen liegt, stört es wenig. Ich würde jederzeit wieder dort buchen!"

"Our six night stay in October 2025 was just wonderful. Steve and Helen were so friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and bedding very comfortable. One highlight was the balcony which added to the relaxation. The motel's location was excellent, adjacent to the main shopping and restaurant street and going through to the Lagoon using a private access gate. The lagoon pool and surrounds were lovely and again another highlight. Cheers Gill and Bill."
