A rough diamond but pleasant for an overnight stop

Our stay was quite comfortable we would be happy to stay again in the future. The property is undergoing renovations and looks to be improving all the time. While there may be areas of peeling paint and unfinished decor, the room was clean and comfortable and everything worked as expected. Despite being close to the highway the noise from passing traffic was not intrusive.

The Gent who gave me directions to check in was Courteous and very informative .I liked the old fashioned welcome .He gave me directions to park in the carpark as I had a high boat on the trailer .EXCELLENT SERVICE AND CLEAN FACILITIES 😀👍

Checking in is unique, something new to me, Once informed I found it easy. Checking out is easy, keyless entry & exit Being a Sunday, the office is closed, but communication is accessible by mobile During the week Mon-Saturday office is open Part of the motel is under construction, due to cyclone damage some years back Rooms are standard but clean & comfortable

Conveniently located, clean and king bed was very comfortable. Extremely overpriced rooms, the size of a shoebox, lacked basic amenities like bedside table, lamps and power points. Had to hold the shower head up while trying to soap myself, because you could not tighten the nuts and it kept falling down. The property is neglected and in dire need of repairs and maintenance. I expect much more for the $322 per night we paid. At the very least undercover parking should be provided. Overall experience wasn’t good and I wouldn’t return or recommend as somewhere to stay.
