It was a clean and reasonable room for catching a flight from Whitsunday airport. The traffic on Bruce Highway however can get a bit loud at times.

Nice little number.

Good little property for close proximity to the train station. Hotel room was very clean with a comfy bed. Clean linens, kettle, toaster, iron and tea and coffee making facilities. Nice welcome from the owners dogs too!

The price $190 was way too much for what it was!! I had a massive room with 3 beds when I was travelling by myself! Right on the highway so a bit of noise. It wasn't as though the place was booked out - looked to be only one other person staying here.

The property was in a good location to walk downtown and was clean and comfortable. Only downside was the shower sends water all over the floor and needs a barrier to contain it from flowing out to the toilet side.

Nicely fitted accommodation with friendly staff. Unfortunately, I had broken sleep between 9:30 - 1:30, and then didn't sleep a wink past then as I was disturbed by the road noise of passing trucks.

We liked that the room was clean and quiet even though it was near the highway. Very convenient for us driving onto Cairns. Food options within walking distance. However the windows could not really be opened as there were no screens or any way to secure them open. We would say there again.

although it is a little older it was quite pleasant and clean. beds and pillows were perfectly comfortable. located on main highway so there is some traffic noise, plus other guests can be heard as they have conversations when getting into cars, didn't keep me awake as i use ear plugs. conveniently located near chicken shop, large service station and 5 min walk to main street. small pool, enough to get wet to cool down. ultimately served its purpose as we were only sleeping there.

It is only a 20 min drive (26 km) from Airlie Beach and much much cheaper to stay there than Airlie. The 1 hour drive to Airlie and back did not take too much out of the day and well worth the savings.
