"Fabulous location and a fascinating building - highly recommend the little tour that you can take to learn about the history. The pool is lovely, as is the walking in the countryside around the abbey - other than that there's not a lot to do other than soak up the atmosphere. We stayed for two dinners and one lunch. "Very beautiful place. The host was very kind. 5 minutes from the airport. Extremely CLEAN. The only drawback is the sound from the planes coming in for landing. The property is situated next to the air strip which makes sleeping uncomfortable. When the planes are not landing, the roosters took over. I couldn’t sleep soundly. The free breakfast delivered at the door was added bonus. Very good place for an overnight stay. "

"Un hôtel très convivial leur chambre est plus grande que la moyenne et près de la piscine. Jolie pour février même si on ne l’utilise pas. Son personnel est gentil et efficace. Ce qui nous as surpris ce fut le restaurant ( en particulier le responsable) et la qualité de leurs mets qui assurent l’authenticité sicilienne avec un approche nouvelle cuisine innovatrice. "A truly underrated hotel! The staff, accommodations, food and service were amazing! The views of Palermo from our balcony were great and being outside the city centre away from the hustle and bustle was refreshing. If you have a car it is definitely easier to come and go (driving is not for the faint of heart though, so be warned) being that it is up the mountain, but they provide a shuttle service both to and from the city centre and airport for a reasonable price. "It's a nice hotel near the harbour and the city centre can be easily reached by public transportation or car. Staff is very helpful and friendly, spoke good English, as well. A buffet style breakfast had a good variety of food, in overall it is proportional with It's price and star rating. Actually its beach is a small cliff which is probably not suitable for swimming, however it's beautiful. In summary, we had a really positive experience as a family with a 13 years old boy.
