"We booked the Silver Lake Pool and Inn for a one-night stay to celebrate a birthday. Four of us stayed in the the queen double room and we all absolutely loved it! The view of the hills and the neighborhood were gorgeous. We loved the furniture and design (it felt like a hip and groovy house) and the beds were comfy. "Clean room, great facilities and good location. I’d say the only downsides for me is that there’s too many locks throughout the property (a total of 4 to go through before you can enter your room - 1 at the main entrance, 2 to enter the building and 1 to enter the room) and since there’s no on-site staff you have to message them on Expedia and wait for a response and they can be a little slow). "The assistant manager, Amy was absolutely awful. She was rude and would not give the name of the manager nor the company who owned the hotel. Our air-conditioning did not work. Our TV did not work. We called several times and they never came. I have stayed there several times in the past and never had a problem. This place is gotten horrible and Amy was the reason as well. They are trying to double charge us for parking and amenities. The place really went downhill."
