"Wonderful family stay at Casa Azul Maya! We did have a ground floor room which was a bit more humid - but the AC kept it cool and it was fine for all of us. Beds were comfortable, staff helpful and room was cleaned everyday with fresh bath and beach towels as needed. The partnership with Loretta’s was perfect; amazing breakfasts, access to pool and ocean were picturesque. South side of the island is much calmer and slower pace -with great food, coffee and Punta Sur—- we’d come back in a heart...

"Almare is a very special place. The rooms are spacious and appointed with everything you should need. The location is beautiful with gorgeous pools and an idyllic private beachfront. Our meals in the on-site restaurants, at the beach and at the pool areas were all superb. All the staff, from Karen, our beach attendant to Arturo in the spa were exceptionally kind and professional. The hotel manager went above and beyond on our last day to help my travel companion with a slight medical issue. ...

"Everything about Maria Kan Kin’s was amazing! We had the Romantic Suite which was upstairs with a large deck and a gorgeous view! Lily, the manager was wonderful! The restaurant, Loretta’s has some of the best food we’ve ever eaten. The beach is fairly small but pristine, plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas. You can order food and drinks from the beach. We truly cannot recommend this hotel enough. It made our stay in Isla Mujeres absolutely perfect!!!"

"This is a basic hotel. The rooms are a bit outdated, but the staff is nice. The pool is small with only four lounge chairs. You will need to walk to get to the beach - this hotel has a dock only. "

"The hotel is very relaxing and the rooms are spacious. The breakfast in the morning was perfect to get you going with a view of the ocean as well. There’s even a pool that allows for some relaxation and escape from the sun. A perfect retreat, which still allows you to explore the village."

"While the room itself was nice....the location is terrible. There is a view of the ocean, but it's across the street...so it's an ocean view but not ocean front. There is a gas station right beside the room...constant lines of traffic. there is a speed bump right in front, so all vehicles slow down. Two bright street lights shining into the room all night. I would certainly not recommend and def would not stay there again."

"It is an all-inclusive property. But anything not included is much more expensive than in US. I had a food poison after eating the sushi in the buffet. When I called the front desk for help I was told the on site doctor would charge 150 dollars per visit and 30 more if you want the doctor come to see you in your room.
