"The lift was out of order and will be for the next month I believe. The hotel is in need of an update and the beds are not comfortable. The staff were excellent though, very helpful and kind. No shuttle to the airport but an easy walk to it. Breakfast was alright but was a charge. Kids eat free for breakfast which was nice. "

"I thought that my room & the restaurant/bar area were very smart & clean, tho I did find a "used" nappy in the bottom drawer in my bedroom on the last day of my stay. I had not previously looked in that drawer. In general the (mostly young) staff were friendly, polite , helpful & efficient. Tho when I mentioned that my room had not been "made up" on one occasion, I was assured that would be attended to, & was disappointed to find that did not happen. "We have stayed here before and it is a good practical option for us when we visit family. It is clean modern and nice and warm. We have stayed twice before in different rooms, both of which were bigger than the one we had this time. It would really have been more suitable for a single guest. That being said, we did manage ok for 2 nights. We did notice the noise from other guests a bit more this time than we did before. The location is ideal as there are shops, bars and decent restaurants...
