-one of the glass had a very nice brown lip shaped dirt on it.. -the door we have to fight every time for 2-3 minutes to open( 1 key wasnt working at all) -the hand wash sink was getting blocked when we tried to use it - from the shower tap one part was missing, making the water shutting another 5-10 minutes battle. - the top of the iceberg was when they closed the water without any notification during the day. i called them on my phone( cause there is no phone in the room but i should call for room service on that)the reception said:a yes sorry about it 30 minutes and it will come back. 1,5 hrs later we left to rather spend the night at our friends where we can use the washroom..

Everything was fine. The room was clean, the staff were friendly. There was a good selection for breakfast BUT the plates for the hot breakfast were really cold so the food quickly got cold and it was not pleasant to eat

There was no water when we arrived. We were not told that when we checked in. We were unable to wash or use the toilet after a 4 1/2 hour car journey. When I called the desk they said it should be back on “some time”. We had plans to meet friends in the city and had to go out without being able to freshen up. When we returned at 10pm the smell of blocked drains in the property was terrible, it smelt throughout the hotel. I was unable to sleep all night as the smell of drains in my room was making me feel sick and gave me a sore head. I would not recommend staying here.

Room allocated was nect to/behind the lift. Definitely needs better soundproofing. Was awoken from 6am by constant lift noises. Breakfast was ok but not a scottush breakfast as you would expect. Rooms are clean enough but good do with renovation. Peeling paint in bathroom. Fairly cold autumn and room was hot with limited opening window. We stayed here in the dummer and thought it was the weather then but obviously not. Carpark barrier not eorkimg do a loy of cars parked for hospital nect doir for free, rather than just hotel guests. Be wary of booking again.

Very strong Smell of damp on all landing in room and stairs well hard to breath I have COPD also lift no working had to use stairs have a disability and king size bed was not king-size bed two put together uncomfortable sleep as beds kept separating between mattress where you basically fall in to the middle of the bed

Average

Shower/bath didn't have hot water, so had to report it and it was fixed. Mattress was a bit lumpy, but sheets and pillows fine. Hotels are always too hot and noisy for me (noises from other rooms, outside noises especially early morning deliveries, but i accept you can't much control that). A wee biscuit with thr teas/coffees in rooms would have been nice.

The staff really are the star of the Leonardo West End – so warm and helpful throughout our stay. We’d originally booked a double and single, but the first room we got was definitely not at its best (looked like the hoover had skipped it). To be fair, they moved us straight away and the second room was miles better. The room itself was fine for a base but definitely showing its age – quite outdated and a bit dusty if you looked in the corners. The bathroom was mid at best: no ventilation so it got stuffy fast, which didn’t help the overall tired feel of the place. We’d also asked for a baby cot – they did provide one, but the base was wrong so our little one bunked in with us for most of the trip. Not a disaster, but if you’re travelling with a baby I’d say bring your own just in case. Breakfast though? Absolutely spot on – loads of choice, solid 10/10. We had dinner in the restaurant one night too; food was lovely, but the bill felt a little steep for what it was. Location-wise, plenty of parking and the bus stop across the road makes it really handy for nipping into the city centre. All in all, I’d call it an above-average stay – brilliant staff, great breakfast, but the rooms themselves could do with some TLC.

This hotel is in need of upgrading accross all areas. Including some reception staff who like to swear. The hotel gets cleaned well but is still dirty looking due to needing upgraded. The mattresses have big brown stains on them and they dont even cover it with a proper sheet. They cleaned our room but did not hoover and did not clean toilet pan maybe because of no toilet brush. The breakfast is adequate but not exciting. The noise from the service station deleviries woke me up the 2 days i was there. We checked out 1 day early due to all above.

Awful stay , shabby room

Started badly as showed reception guy that I was platinum who said bookings/hotel.com hadn’t informed them. No upgrade, voucher for drinks etc at the bar or anything offered or given ( most places give you something ) had to pay for parking too which when I asked the other receptionist about platinum she did tell thr guy don’t charge but sadly he had already taken money from credit card . Not sure if anyone here or from there will refund this . Room was very dated, work carpet in parts , rusty light rims , very cheap watery shower gel, dirty bathroom wall , no grout in floor tiles which were dirty , blocked filthy xpelair fan , cracked / peeling paint on bathroom ceiling . Stayed in their sister hotel in cc and 10 times better , cleaner , modern etc .
Blocked with filth probably causing Fsb not to work as mirrors stayed steamed even when door opened for ages .

The pictures on the Expedia listing were a bit misleading, as they primarily focus on the lobby and bar which are actually quite nice and seemed remodeled recently. The actual suite itself had chips out of the trim work, peeling paint on the bathroom ceiling, dirty/black stains on shower tile grout, gouges out of the drywall, splatters of unknown material on the walls and lampshades, and very uncomfortable beds. Only one lift worked, which was occasionally problematic, and lack of power outlets near the nightstands was inconvenient. The shower controls also seemed inconsistent and lacking logic; after two days, we still don’t know which knob actually controls temperature and where the water comes out. In summary, the price paid for the room is extremely indicative of the condition - if an affordable and safe hotel is needed, it does the job.

Room stank of smoke. Bathroom door had a part hanging off. Mattress had a massive depression in it which looked like the springs were gone. General cleanliness was terrible. Marks on walls and woodwork from unknown origins. Dust and cobwebs on most of the coving. Stains on bedsheets. Carpet could have done with being replaced years ago. Not impressed and would not recommend.
