"I arrived at the property with an injury that made moving very difficult. We were greeted by a lovely young woman who took care of our check in, luggage, parking, ice and insured that i woul be comfortable and well taken care of. For the next 3 days we enjoyed amazing service by pleasant and unfailingly helpful staff. Couldn't have asked for more!"

"I loved our stay at Hotel Rival. We traveled Scandinavia for over 2 weeks and this was my favorite hotel out of all the ones we stayed at. The room was spacious and the bed comfy. We returned to our room after our day sightseeing with turn down service and sparkling water on the bed stand. The breakfast was delicious and had made to order choices as well as a full buffet. It also had AC which is not always available at Scandinavian hotels. We rented bikes from the hotel and biked all around...

"Loved everything. The breakfast is a must. The staff are sweet. The location is absolutely perfect and the rooms are very nice. The one issue is the music in the courtyard restaurant and bar, which gets louder on Friday and Saturday night. The windows block the noise very well, so on weeknights it wasn't an issue. But Friday and Saturday they turned it up further and it interfered with our sleep. It is a pity that a 5 star hotel prioritizes the weekend fun for locals over paying travelers...
