My family and I visited this hotel because of its convenient location near the American Embassy. We had an appointment there and the hotel was just a short walk away. Parking is paid, but it’s a great feature to have. The breakfast was delicious and well-served. Overall, we had a great experience and highly recommend this hotel.
Absolutely fantastic stay here with my family. The staff were so helpful and kind during our stay. We look forward to returning to this wonderful hotel.
We arrived early, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate an early check-in at no extra cost—much appreciated! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was good, and the location is lovely and peaceful. A great stay overall.
We love this hotel. Breakfast was excellent, beds were comfortable. Location is lovely.. The sauna was always available when we wanted it and offers a private space with weights and some workout equipment, as well as, a shower. Kevin at the front desk was very helpful and made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back.
The hotel is a 4,5 star for us but the staff from cleaners, reception and restaurant are 6 stars.
Easy parking. Very good restaurant and a beautiful location with walking distance to central Stockholm.
Excellent property. My go to hotel next time I visit Stockholm. Very nice outdoor space near water. Good restaurant. Convenient 15 minutes public bus transportation from the Central Railway Station. Very close to embassies. Large park close by. Plenty of parking. Beds and comforters are slightly too narrow, though.
Nice rooms with great beds, quiet area (in the Royal Djurgarden) , walking distance to Skansen, Gröna Lund, Abba Museum, Vasa Museum and City Center. Bus stop in front of the hotel.
We thought this hotel was superbly located for central Stockholm and on the water. The only disappointment we had were the staff. The restaurant staff were badly trained and made the dining experience less than desirable.
This was our second stay at Villa Källhagen for my daughter and I, having stayed there previously 2 years ago. The reason we stayed again is because it meets our needs, and are reasonable in price. The rooms are adequate, on the first floor, the staff is very personable and friendly. On site parking and easily accessible for Uber. The included breakfast is a welcome feature and well attended.
We love this hotel.

Food options bed comfort were good.
No dressers and no phone in room. No room safe. No towel racks for hand towels. Not to the standard of a Superior room.
We had 6nights in Stockholm and this was the perfect hotel for that. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Our only issue was the bright sunlight at 4am. Didn’t need a light on in the bathroom with a lovely big skylight. Staff were friendly. Great spot to travel back to after a day exploring the city. Very relaxing being able to sit out on the lawn area or beside the river to unwind. Made our trip very relaxing. Public transport at the front door although we tried to avoid it as super expensive for the 2km trip into city. We walked most days which was nice along the river and very safe.
the rooms are starting to show signs of wear and tear, outdated decors and bathrooms. ac was tricky to get going.
I booked the sauna but they forgot to turn it on on time but I got compansated for the wait with a few free drink which was a sweet gesture. Breakfast is great and the area is close to walking and the park. easy to park ifyou come with a car too.
We love this property. We stayed last year and it was important to stay again this year. I tried without success to use the sauna. Each day the hotel was packed with events. I tried to use the sauna on a Saturday night but it wasn't working. Our TV was also uncooperative. Staff was exceeding friendly and always made us feel welcome. We'd certainly stay again.
I booked this primarily because I had a visa appoint at the US embassy, which is less than 5 minutes away by foot - and I was positively surprised.
The room was really nice and clean - kept in light, soothing colors. And the bed comfortable - all making it easy to relax and keep my mind off the somewhat stressful ordeal the embassy the next day.
The breakfast buffet is really tasty and with a wide selection of tees and food. especially their strawberry jam I found amazing :)
I arrived late in the evening around 9pm, but it was super easy to contact the hotel beforehand and no problem to plan for the somewhat late check-in.
The staff was really friendly, and I was even allowed to leave my bags at the front desk, during my interview at the embassy
