I guess I was unprepared to have it be on a third floor apartment. At the time they had scaffolding around the building as well. Which was not their fault of course. Walking in we were pleasantly surprised at how quaint the setup was. They had coffee and tea which was available throughout the day. And...

"Great beds. Standard European buffet for breakfast with cooked-to order eggs. (The chef did them well, scrambled, poached, etc. ) Best waitperson and always kind, is Katia. She was cheerful and professional. Front desk were helpful and prompt in sorting out airline issues, hiring tour guides, securing taxis, etc. I walk with a cane (stick) and require showers not deep-soak bathtubs and this hotel has them. Location is unbeatable for access to Piazza de Poppolo and good restaurants. There...
