"The complimentary breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing. Exceptional quality food, wonderful ambiance, and features dishes from around the world (US, South Asia, East Asia, Europe). The only reason I'd ever come back is for the breakfast and view of Bangkok from the balcony (which is now closed off for safety). Other than the food, the room, carpets, and TV were old. The TV was small, often didn't work with the remote, and had limited channels. Carpets were quite old and I wouldn't walk barefoot on them. The kitchen area had stovetops but no pots. And the fridge had coke products they charged you for. Overpriced laundry. I would only recommend this place for rich people that love being pampered and catered to round-the-clock. If you are independent, you might find it irritating. When you walk in, they have strongly scented flowers in the lobby. The scent was overpowering. When I reached the room, it was huge but again, old carpets, old appliances, and not that impressive except the spacious size. Within 10 minutes while I was undressing and almost nude, staff just walked into my room unannounced to bring complimentary beer and chocolate. Yikes. In the hotel bars, everything was overpriced for Thailand's standards. They hike prices to match NYC standards which honestly defeats the point of vacationing in a lower-income country like Thailand. They also charge a $300 USD deposit when you check in. Ridiculous for Thailand. "

"I travel as a lone parent with 3 children so my list of accommodation needs is longer than most. The hotel is beautiful, clean and rooms are a very comfortable size. The staff were friendly, however when using the pool outside of hotel organised fun such as songkran pool activities children cannot play freely as the priority of adult guests enjoying themselves felt more important regardless of there being a separate quiet pool. Children will find it difficult to enjoy the pool on normal days."

"Highly recommend getting breakfast included with your booking. Great Thai and Western options. The restaurant during the day has a great menu and the food options tasted amazing. The staff was always courteous and attentive—very welcoming every single time we left or entered the building. Every call, they picked up and were able to easily assist or answer our questions. There is laundry on-site so take advantage of it by asking the front desk. We stayed 7 days and the rooms were made up every day we needed it to be. They also offer room service and it was a good value."

"Came as a group, but checked in earlier alone without friends. Was charged 2000 for my deposit while my friends of different ethnicities got charged only 1000. We were all checked in my same front desk employee within a few hours of each other and charged different amounts. Upon check out, friends where given deposit back immediately while they kept my whole 2000. Was given a few different reasons ranging from alleged smoking in the room, to odor from all the wet clothes during songkram. Unfortunately when asked about laundry was told it’s not available. I have stayed here many times, but seeing how the management and staff interact with you depending on ethnicity leaves a bad taste. We come here every year, and probably will look for somewhere else for the next trip, previous trips were amazing here but I could see a clear difference based on race and the hen staying here individually. Very disappointing as I used to recommend this place to friends and family all the time"
