"Views of the lake to die for! A great option for a weekend getaway. Visited during Montreux Jazz Festival and it’s also very conveniently located to the festival stage"
"We spent two nights at hotel de la Rouvenaz and really enjoyed our stay. The location was convenient, the room was clean and comfortable. A sweet and cozy spot to relax after exploring the city!"
"WOW!! Stunning views, first class staff, gorgeous old-world luxury with all the modern convenience. Food was exceptional! This place is truly in another league, very special. We will remember our stay as the highlight of our trip."
"This hostel feels very clean and safe. The staff was very nice and helpful and breakfast included is a plus!
I would say that this is pretty over priced for a hostel dormitory but it seems to be the only reputable option in the area.
Overall would recommend! "

Loved Montreaux! I highly recommend both the Chillon Castle (2hours and lots of stairs) and the free Queen Exhibit. Both are easy to reach by bus which can be free.

Montreux was gorgeous. Lake Geneva was lovely with views of the Alps all around. Highly recommend a day trip to Glacier 3000. Lovely train ride.

Trolleybus stops just outside hotel, and like all hotel guests in Montreux, had free public transport throughout he Montreux region. Hence visited attractions in Vevey and Lausanne, and went up funiculars and on train trips into the mountains.

We stayed in Montreaux for 4 days and used it as a base for day trips. We stayed around the lake mostly and didn't visit the higher parts of the city.

The Christmas Market was being removed, but looked worthy of visiting in the future.

"A very convenient location, great views, complimentary stuff if the mini fridge and welcome bottle of wine - a nice touch. The conditioner drips water, I had to put a towel under so not to get any puddles. Corner room 139, great view!!"
